Scientific Excellence of the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences and Technologies – Bani Waleed Among Higher Technical Institutes in Libya

As part of the International Youth Day – Libya 2024 Celebration,
organized jointly by the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education, the Higher Institute of Science and Technology – Tajoura, and the UNEVOC International Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training,
the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences and Technologies – Bani Waleed participated in the competition for Best Graduation Project among higher technical institutes.

The institute submitted a graduation project titled:

“Prevalence of Thyroid and Autoimmune Thyroid Disorders Among Adult Libyans in the City of Bani Waleed”

Supervised by the distinguished lecturer Ms. Samira Dhou Omaygel,
and prepared by students:

• Iman Othman Al-Ghattas

• Maha Younes Abu Setta

• Alaa Ali Al-Nakoua

The project achieved second place among all higher technical institutes in Libya.
