Establishment:
The Higher Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology – Bani Walid was established in 1982 by an official decree issued by the National Authority for Technical and Vocational Education. Its primary objective is to train qualified medical and technical personnel who can contribute to the advancement and support of the healthcare sector in Libya.
Accreditation:
The institute is fully accredited by the National Authority for Technical and Vocational Education. It offers academically and professionally accredited programs that adhere to recognized standards, including the following:
- General Studies Program
- Pharmacy Technology Program
- Laboratory Technology Program
- Physical Therapy Program
- Nursing Technology Program
The institute is committed to continuously developing and updating its academic programs to obtain additional accreditations in line with both local and international standards.
